I completed my year 11 and 12 in high school whilst working and completing my veterinary nusing in the Kingaroy surgery, which I have been at off and on between having babies ect for the past 15 years. My family (husband and 3 beautiful little girls) and I live on acerage and have a menagerie of animals including miniature horses, other than spending time with my wonderful family I also enjoy dog grooming, horse riding and making browbands (for horses) and dog collars.

I started my career in 2007 when I graduated from a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I have worked in a range of clinics, including small animal practice to emergency work, and was invited to join the SBVets team in 2015. When I'm not at work, I have 3 fur babies and love dealing with our cattle.

Amanda Haddrick

Veterinary Nurse (Cert II Agriculture)

Having begun Veterinary Nursing in 2014, I joined the team at South Burnett Vets in 2017, allowing me to continue my career close to home. When I'm not at work you'll find me spending time with my family, friends and animals; Sheelagh (Rotty x), Ocker (Great Dane x), Diego (Manx x), and Dime (Arab x). I enjoy reading, camping, and horse riding when I can.

Naomi Sippel

Trainee Nurse (Cert II Animal Studies)

I have been with SB Vets since 2015, in which time I completed my Cert II Animal Studies as part of a local school based traineeship. Having now graduated I enjoy developing my skills further with SB Vets.

Aleita Wolski

Trainee Nurse (Qualified Dog Groomer)

I've always had a love for animals and after moving back home to the South Burnett in 2018, the opportunity for me to start my Vet Nursing career came up and I didn't have to think twice about it. I've been with the company now for almost 6 months and am about to start my Certificate II Animal Studies. I'm extremely family orientated, and being one of five girls, if I'm not at work I'm with family, fur babies, or spending time with my partner. I enjoy dog grooming and completed my Certificate in Animal Grooming in early 2018. Our head nurses call me a greenie in the industry! I'm excited to learn more and help animals every single day, and would never pass up on furbaby snuggles!
